Levi’s Legacy: Service Dogs for Survivors

At Devildog Canine, we are excited to launch Levi’s Legacy, our new initiative dedicated to training service dogs specifically for survivors of human trafficking - an urgent need that has long been overlooked.

Our Mission

Levi’s Legacy embodies empowerment and remembrance, honoring the remarkable service dog who inspired this project. The name LEVI stands for "Leading Every Victim to Independence." Our mission is to connect survivors with the service dogs essential for navigating the challenges of life after trauma.

The Impact of Service Dogs

Just as Levi guided our founder, Michael, through his darkest days, these service dogs are poised to transform the lives of their handlers. Levi was more than a companion; he was a life-saver, instilling courage and hope in everyone he encountered, shining brightly as a guiding light for all service dogs trained at Devildog Canine.

Collaboration for Change

Through Levi’s Legacy, we proudly partner with 2nd and 50th, led by trafficking survivor Kristin Vaughn, along with other dedicated organizations, to provide crucial support to survivors. Together, we aim to create a network of strength and resilience, facilitating healing through the bond between survivors and their service dogs.
